The Cat City Campaign
A converted world
Cat City began as a 5e game. In 2026 the whole table moved to Pathfinder 2e Remaster, and the campaign came with it: same city, same cast, new rules underneath.
Six at the table
A regular roster of six players. Sessions run Monday evenings, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at the lair, with the occasional Beginner Box one‑shot when the full party can't make it.
A living record
Every session gets a debrief: NPCs met, threads pulled, secrets learned. Recurring villains, patrons, and shopkeepers are catalogued so they can return without being rebuilt.
How we run the game
- Rules
- Pathfinder 2e Remaster (Player Core, GM Core, Monster Core). Legacy terms get translated at the table: flat‑footed is off‑guard, and so on.
- Characters
- Hero Lab Online holds every PC and NPC. Party state is pulled from it before each session so prep works from what is actually on the sheets.
- Session prep
- One tool per night: a token map, initiative and HP trackers, stat block cards, loot table, and a pre‑session checklist, built from the live campaign roster.
- Rules lookups
- A chunked, searchable library of the PF2e books with page citations, so a mid‑combat “how does this work” gets a real answer.
